    In Hinduism, specific days of the week are dedicated to particular gods. In Hinduism, each day of the week is associated with different gods and goddesses. For example, Monday is for Shiv Ji and Maa Laksmi, while Friday is for Santoshi. Here’s a list of the deities worshipped on each day.


    Monday: Lord Shiva

    Lord Shiva is the day for Monday. He is a god of the gods in Hinduism. He is the symbol of strength and spiritual power and he gives all his devotees a peaceful calmness. People take his blessings for strength, courage, and inner peace. As the destroyer of evil and the god who transforms the world for his believer’s lives.     Tuesday: Lord Hanuman

    Tuesday is dedicated to Lord Hanuman. He is known as Sankat Mochan. He is also famous for his strong dedication to Lord Rama, his courage, great power, life without marriage, and steadfast loyalty. On Tuesdays, worshipping Lord Hanuman is said to give you bravery and keep you safe from danger. People who take his blessings for strength to face the problems and hurdles in life. It is believed that Lord Hanuman is the quickest to respond to any problem because he is the closest to Earth among the Chiranjeevi.


    Wednesday: Ganesh Ji

    Wednesday is dedicated to lord Ganesh. He is the remover of obstacles and is believed to give good fortune and luck to his believers along with health and financial abundance. People take his blessings for success and wisdom in their lives. He is a symbol of intellect and prosperity and it is important to take his guidance.  


    Thursday: Lord Vishu and Guru

    In Hindi, we call Thursday “Guruvar,” and this day is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, who protects and preserves the universe. He is also seen as a guide and teacher in our lives. He has the role of maintaining the order of the universe and righteousness and our teacher also helps us do the same in our lives. People worship lord Vishnu on Thursday for taking his blessings for stability and prosperity in their lives.

    Friday: Maa Santoshi

    Friday is devoted to Maa Santoshi, the daughter of Lord Ganesh. People keep shukarvaar fast for Santoshi maa and people abstain from eating non-vegetarian food or anything sour from nature. People take Gud-Chana prasad and open their fast.


    Saturday: Shani Dev

    Saturday is dedicated to God Shani. He is related to justice and discipline. He is the god who people are afraid of but also worships with utmost focus. People worship Shani Dev and ask for his protection against difficulties. It is also believed that praying to Shani Dev will ensure you have a stable life and that your karmic balance is right.


    Sunday: Surya Dev

    Sunday is related to God's sun. It's thought that worshipping the god Surya can make people shine brighter in life, just like him, and stay calm during difficult times. Sunday is dedicated to praying to him and asking him for strength and positivity. Through prayers and early morning water offerings, people take his divine energy which helps to maintain spiritual and physical well-being.
