Ram mandir inauguration

According to officials, the inauguration will start on 16th January. The date of lord ram’s purification is all set for 22nd January 2024. The booking for passes is now accepted online and offline by Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra.

3 aartis will be performed throughout the day. Devotees can choose any name from Aarti and schedule their appointment accordingly.

Only pass holders can attend the aarti at Ram Mandir. Only 30 people will be permitted to attend each aarti due to security concerns. Devotees can able to get the Aarti passes from the official website. They have to present their ID cards issued by the government. Only 30 passes will be allotted in each aarti.

The three-floor temple in Nagara style was designed by architecture Chandrakant, Nikhil, and Ashish Sompura. The construction is done on 70 acres, which includes 2 mandapas Kudu, Nritya, Rang, Kirtana, and Prarthana, which take up 2.7 acres of this space.

If we talk about temple dimensions the length of the temple is 360 feet, the width is 235 and the height is 161. The temple is truly magnificent. This journey began on 5th August 2020, when the foundation was laid, with 12 gates and numerous columns.

Ram Mandir’s Shape and Style

The Mandir has a dome and symmetry-shaped structure, which is designed in nagara, viscera, and Dravida style. Stick to Vastushastra and Shilpashastra, it encompasses 360 pillars, each standing at 16 feet.

The composition of Ram Mandir

The foundation stands on 2 lakh bricks, each dedicated to “Jai Sri Ram”. The stones from Banshi mountains in Rajasthan, Mirzapur’s pink stone. And 3 lakh cubic feet of sandstone are authorized in the temple. A strong foundation, 20 feet deep and 400 feet wide includes 50 layers of building materials, each 10 inches thick.

• Mandapa: - The mandapa in middle of Garbhagriha, built in Nagara style.
• Garbhagriha: - A small room for God's placement.
• Shikara: - Shikara is an octagonal shape.
• Vahana: - Lord Ram’s huge statue in a straight line.
• Idols: - This is the central attraction of lord ram, along with the idol found in 1949.
• Bells: - The weight of the bell is 2100kg, length is 6 feet and 5 feet wide. And the cost of the bell is 21 lakhs.
