Abhimanyu Chakravyuh: The Bravest Story
We all know that the Mahabharata War is one of the epic wars of history. In this war, the Brahmin teacher and warrior Dronacharya created a special battle formation called Abhimanyu Chakravyuh.
He made this formation to use against Arjun's son, Abhimanyu. Do you want to know why he did this? Let’s explore this in depth.
About Drona and Abhimanyu
We all know that Dronacharya, the Brahmin teacher and warrior, taught both the Pandavas and the Kauravas. He was one of the warriors in the battle of Mahabharata. Dronacharya was very good at teaching his students the skills of fighting and war. He was aside with the Kauravas, but he never disrespected the Pandavas.
Abhimanyu was a brave warrior and a famous hero from the Mahabharata. He was Lord Krishna's nephew and the son of Arjun and Subhadra. The Chakravyuh was plotted against him in war, but brave Abhimanyu didn’t lose hope.
He used the techniques taught to him by his father Arjun to defend himself. But he failed to protect himself from his enemies. He was unluckily killed on the battlefield only at 16 years old.

What is Chakravyuh?
The Chakravyuh is a web that traps one from escaping. It is the same as a coil with 2 kinds of tiers: the outer and inner tier. The outer tier had foot soldiers and the inner tier had experienced and skilled warriors. This Chakravyuh is ready to work. The person who wants to save himself will come close to walls, where escaping is impossible.
Mahabharata Abhimanyu Chakravyuh story
Dronacharya, who guided the princes of the Kuru Dynasty, also taught Abimanyu how to enter the Chakravyuh in the Mahabharata. Drona and Kauravas plotted it against Abhimanyu. They want to capture Yudhisthir to defeat the 4 Pandavas: Arjun, Krishna, Abhimanyu, and Pradyumn. And the Mahabharat Abhimanyu Chakravyuh story begins.
Among them, Pradyumn said he would not fight against Kauravas on the battlefield. Abhimanyu already knows how to enter Chakravyuh. But he didn't know how to escape from this formation. Yudhishtir told him they could follow him. The other two people left, and Krishna and Arjun were busy protecting themselves from the Trigartas, who were attacking their kingdom.
The brother of Kauravas “Jaydratha” had a boon from Lord Shiva to defeat Pandavas as they shaved his hair, leaving only some hair on his head. This angered Jaydratha and he wanted to take revenge against the Pandavas. So, he asked Lord Shiva for help with this.
Lord Shiva granted him the boon, and he kept the other brothers, Bheem, Nakul, Sachdev, and Yudhishtir aside. This made it easy to trap Abhimanyu in the Chakravyuh, where he fought bravely but eventually lost his life against the strong warriors of the Kauravas' army.
