    On Chandra darshan, Hindu believers worship the god moon. Believers observe strict fasts on this day to please God's moon. Individuals didn’t eat or drink anything all day. The fast is broken after watching the moon just after sunset.

    It is believed that individuals who do all the ritualistic worship of God's moon on Chandra darshan day will be granted good fortune and prosperity.
