    Lord Krishna is the 9th Avtar of the lord Vishnu. According to mythology, Krishna was the son of Devaki and Vasudeva and he was born in a prison cell in Mathura, and he took birth to kill his wicked uncle, King Kansa.

    To protect baby Krishna from Kansa, he took Krishna to Gokul, where he was raised by Nanda and Yashoda. He performed miracles and taught people about dharma, which is the story of the victory of good over evil.
